Making an interesting pattern, cinging to the rocks at Albion Sands near Marloes, these limpets sit upon the same red sandstone rock type that appears further north in the county. The rock appears again at the coastline and is a particular feature of Caerfai beach at St Davids, from which parts of the cathedral were built.
